Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

4 Salmon fillets (skin-on or off, your preference)

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tsp Smoked paprika

2 tbsp Olive oil (or butter)

3 tbsp Honey

2 tbsp Soy sauce (low sodium is best)

1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice

3 cloves Garlic, minced

Garnish: Fresh chopped parsley and lemon wedges

Instructions
Season: Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

Sear: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon in the pan (flesh side down first if skin-on). Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Flip: Turn the fillets over.

Glaze: Lower the heat to medium. Add the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic directly into the pan around the fish.

Baste: As the sauce bubbles and thickens (about 2–3 minutes), use a spoon to continuously pour the glaze over the salmon fillets.

Finish: Once the salmon is cooked through and the sauce is syrupy, remove from heat. Garnish with parsley.

Pro Tips for Success
Don’t Overcook: Salmon is best when it’s still slightly flaky and moist in the center. It will continue to cook for a minute after you take it off the heat.

Room Temp: Let your salmon sit out for about 10–15 minutes before cooking. Cold fish hitting a hot pan can cook unevenly.

The “Secret” Crunch: For that dark, caramelized look in your photo, don’t be afraid to let the honey sauce reduce until it’s sticky and dark amber.
